How It Works

STEP 1: 

SolarWinds Take Control is used to provide remote desktop support and can be installed on your device as a Desktop Agent or as a Temporary Connection through Applet. To enable a temporary connection, visit

STEP 2: 

Enter the 9 Digit PIN Code provided by Huon IT support representative and click Download to enable temporary, secured connection.

STEP 3: 

Once the download is complete, open .exe to run the application. You are now connected and with your permission, your support representative can view your screen and share control of your mouse and keyboard.

STEP 4: 

In addition to remote desktop support, Take Control also provides access to instant chat and Secured File Transfer for real-time engagement with your support representative.

You are in full control of your computer at all times. You always have overriding control of your mouse and keyboard, and you can end the screen-sharing session at any time.
